As of Late
I will try my best to keep this page updated with current projects and news.
A little bit more published!
For the past two years, I have been collaborating with a wonderful group of women vocologists on a chapter for Dr. Ingo Titze's latest publication. Our chapter focused on how the nervous system is affected by vocalization, especially the vagus nerve. Keep an eye out for this fantastic new resource!

Entering Year two!
I feel wonderfully at home at St. Olaf College. And this year promises some big changes on the Musical Theatre front! I am directing a new MT ensemble (St. Olaf MT Lab) and we are performing with the Twin Cities Ballet in their new rock ballet of Romeo & Juliet in March! I have had a new study abroad course accepted and will be reviewing applications for next January's trip to Tokyo for "Musical Theatre in Japan!" And I have been granted funding to continue and build on my dissertation research with the help of a group of passionate undergraduate researchers! What a year!

A little bit published
Honored to have one of my exercises included in the latest edition of The Vocal Athlete! This third addition has some fantastic new material (if I do say so myself ;). Check it out, voice teachers and vocal athletes!

Dr. Stryker now!
I am thrilled to say I successfully defended my dissertation on May 2, 2024 and graduated with my DMA in Voice Pedagogy (Voice Science) from Shenandoah Conservatory!
